The staff were delightful and most helpful as one would expect from the sisiter hotel of Borgo San Luigi. The new pool looks magnificent and there are some spectacular views from the hotel. There are some magnificent communal areas within the hotel but they could be a little warmer and more welcoming. Very nice comfortable bar area.
Having visited the sister hotel of Villa Sabolini for the past 16 years I expect the owners will bring it up to the same standard in future years but believe it will take some time. The bathrooms are sadly lacking and we did not like the shower and our first room flooded because of it. The bathroom is more like a wet room. There is no air conditioning, which wasn't a problem for us but suspect rooms would be very hot in the summer months. The restaurant is adequate but not of the same standard as Borgo San Luigi and the service seemed very quick, no breather between courses. I have every faith in the owners however as I watched how Borgo San Luigi developed over the years and I am sure this hotel will be just as good in the future years.

We arrived at 4.00 pm and had to wait for 45 minutes to get towels, no towels in the room. The dinner is very expensive and not good at all, at breakfast you have to wait for plates and bowls, apprx. 25 minutes, our passports were at the desk unattended, people could see and take away our passports , nobody from the staff, only visitors. The escalator was out of order, nobody was helping with the luggagge, our bathroom wasn't cleaned for 2 days. A piano was used by kids until 11 pm, not playing, just making noise.

Helpful staff, very pleasant location and surroundings, very good breakfast (excellent cappucinos!), good-sized room.
Shower arrangement in the bathroom (a curtain creating three sides of the shower) is not ideal as it's impossible not to make the bathroom floor wet, but it's not a big problem. We thought dinner was OK but not special, even for the reasonable charge made.

The location was central, so close to Florence and Siena, 15 km away from San Gimignano, the fields, and the village center. There was an authentic restaurant nearby. - the breakfast was perfect and exceptionally nice with savory options and fresh products. - the staff was lovely.

Poor experience overall. This hotel is not a small familly hotel contrary to what we expect from a review of the web site. The food is basic like in a very touristic place and the room has just no view at all (we were facing a wall). The room decoration has no charm, with for example, a door in sheet steel like in a jail.

This place was perfect for what we needed, recommend. This was a really good stay for romantic holidays for two. The location was in an excellent and unbeatable spot for our trip. Furthermore, the area was very nice. Our room was airy and a nice size with a living area and a balcony. The offered breakfast was generous and perfect and included lots of options.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel in Tuscany. The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful rolling hills and vineyards surrounding the hotel. It felt like a small village tucked away among the fields, and the landscapes were absolutely breathtaking.
